Our story
Since 2011, the Santos Foundation, formerly known as the Oil Search Foundation, has been working with donors and local partners on development initiatives designed to empower communities and drive positive change in Papua New Guinea.
In 2023, drawing on this heritage, the Santos Foundation expanded its reach to make a positive and lasting impact in communities where Santos has a presence. The Santos Foundation leverages the passion, knowledge, and experience from its ongoing work in Papua New Guinea, to now also empower communities and drive meaningful change in Timor-Leste, Australia and Alaska.
The Santos Foundation is a not-for-profit organisation, which is made up of an Australian-based trust and a Papua New Guinean-based trust. Each of the Santos Foundation trusts are governed by a local trustee company.
